Body testing and seal testing
1､Media in body testing and seal testing of gate valves are water(with antiseptic agent),kerosene or other appropriate liquids with viscosity not greater than water.
2､To gate valves with non-metal seals,boys testing and seal testing shall be in accordance with GB/T13927-92 D standard
3､To gate valves with metal seals,when requirements on sealing performance is available,leakage in seal testing shall be calculated in 1×DBmm3,when no requirements on sealing performance is available,this testing is allowed to be omitted.
4､To gate valves with electric actuators,hydraulic actuators and pneumatic actuators,when closing position is determined,close for 3 times,to carry out body testing and seal testing according to the requirements in clause 1 and claues 3.
5､Cleanness of gate valves shall be in accordance with JB/T7748 standard.
6､Static pressure life testing.
7､Cycles of static pressure life testing shall be in accordance with regulations,and other technical requirements shall be in accordance with JB/Z234 standard.
